New 2020: The Mini Club for kids! Trust your children with our facilitator so that they can make new friends by participating in fun activities and you can relax in peace by the pool in our campsite in Ariège.
Within the campsite La Bexanelle in Ariège, we offer activities suitable for everyone, young and adults alike.
Children can have fun in our garden dedicated to them as it is equipped with slides, spring games, a climbing hut as well as two swings. The most athletic of them will head to the large multi-sport field to practice football, basketball, volleyball or badminton.
In case of bad weather, find yourself in the TV room or in the games room equipped with a ping-pong table and a babyfoot.
In summer, relax around the bowling alley for a game of petanque while the losers prepare the collective barbecue and the children enjoy the bouncy castle.
Fans of thrills and discoveries in the heart of nature will also have plenty to do, the proximity of the mountains only a few kilometers from the campsite allow easy and quick access to these various activities:
But you’ll also have access to a variety of amenities in the city, such as:
You may prefer relaxation, but you’re still interested in sport? So sit along these two iconic races in the region and watch the runners fight for first place.
The last weekend of June is the L’Ariégeoise race, which starts every year from Tarascon, but which is once at Auzat, the other time at the Beille plateau and, whatever the route of the race, you will always be less than 10 km from our campsite!
Also enjoy the Challenge du Montcalm in August, which features several events at an impressive level.
From Auzat, you will have the chance to watch the Montcalm race, a 42 km marathon. At the same time there is a challenge of a whole new level: the Picapica. This 110 km ultra-trail with more than 11 km of vertical drop is represented as the hardest in Europe in terms of altitude/distance ratio.
More unusual is the race of the vertical kilometer that should not be missed at the foot of the Pic d’Endron.
Complete this challenge at the end of August with a 25 km race where participants will fight to snatch the highest place in the standings. (passing through all the hams around the campsite)
